REBT/CBT
REBT is a talking therapy. It was developed by Albert Ellis in the 1950's. It is a type of cognitive-behaviour therapy. It's purpose is to help identify irrational unhealthy beliefs and thought patterns that are responsible for causing emotional disturbance and behaviour issues.

Once these have been identified the therapist will help the client develop strategies to replace them with more flexible, rational beliefs, emotions and thought patterns.
